The  WMAHA Jr Grizzlies are very pleased to announce Mark Sample as our goalie consultant for this season.  Mark brings a wealth of proven goalie coaching experience to Utah.  We realize how important goalies are to our teams and are always looking for ways to improve all aspects of the game.

We are very excited to be able to bring someone with Mark's experience and knowledge to help develop our players.

Here is some background on Mark.

Current Coaching Positions:

Goaltending coach for the Boulder Valley Hockey Association.  Rocky Mountain Regional Manager for Goaltenter Development Institution (GDI).

Biography:

Mark is currently a goaltending coach and consultant in Denver, Colorado where he works with more than 250 goaltenders and several Midget AAA , Junior A, and professional teams. He is in his 4th year as the Goaltending Director for The Boulder Valley Hockey Association.

Throughout his 20 years of goaltender development, Mark has collaborated with some of today's leading goaltending instructors, including Ian Clark, Vladislav Tretiak and Ron Grahame. His success as an instructor and a developer have made him one of the most popular coaches in the Rocky Mountain area.

Mark holds a Master Level 5 coaching credential through USA hockey.
