We wish all the Utah teams good luck at Nationals

WMAHA would like to congratulate the teams continuing on to the tier 2 Natioanls.

The Renegades Peewee team won a hard fought battle over the weekend to edge out our WMAHA Peewee team 2 games to one.  Both teams played their hearts out and the Renegades won the battle. They will be representing Utah at the Tier 2 National tournament in Reston, Virginia.  We wish them the best of luck and hope they represent Utah well.

The WMAHA Bantam team will be representing Utah in Wayne, N.J.  We know they will be ready and able to represent Utah well.

The Davis County Eagles will be representing Utah in West Chester, Pa. at U16 Midget after beating the WMAHA u16 team in 2 straight games, the 2nd game was a nail biter with numerous scoring chances back and forth in overtime.

The Ogden Wildcats will be the u18 representative in Rochester, NY after a comeback win in their second game.  Down 3-1 with 2 minutes to go in the third, the Wildcats came back to tie it up and win a hard fought battle in overtime.

While we wish we had more teams going, everyone at WMAHA wishes the best of luck to our state representatives.  While it is a great honor to go to Nationals it is also a challenging trip to travel so far at great expense to the families involved.  Let’s all do what we can to support all these teams.
