WMAHA is very pleased to announce that we have renewed our contract with Mark Sample to continue as our Goaltending Coach for the organization.  We will be once again utilizing Mark's expertise as we work to develop our goalies and organization.  WMAHA will be offering monthly goaltending focused sessions for our goalies and coaches.

Current Coaching Positions:

Goaltending consultant for the Pikes Peak Miners AAA organization.
Goaltending coach for the Boulder Valley Hockey Association.
Rocky Mountain Regional Manager for Goaltender Development Institution (GDI).

Biography:

Mark is currently a goaltending coach and consultant in Denver, Colorado where he works with more than 250 goaltenders and several Midget AAA , Junior A, and professional teams. He is in his 4th year as the Goaltending Director for The Boulder Valley Hockey Association. 

Throughout his 20 years of goaltender development, Mark has collaborated with some of today's leading goaltending instructors, including Ian Clark, Vladislav Tretiak and Ron Grahame. His success as an instructor and a developer have made him one of the most popular coaches in the Rocky Mountain area.

Mark holds a Master Level 5 coaching credential through USA hockey.
