Summer Update

What you may not know is that as the season winds down and we all look forward to the banquet, and team video’s, work for the Board actually intensifies.  Coaches send in their applications and subsequent interviews.   4 on 4 starts and all the many details that go into the next season, budgets, tryouts, etc. are being worked out.   Proudly, it culminated in two highly successful weekends of tryouts for the Jr. Grizzly’s Select and Elite Teams.  Whew.

While it never, ever truly ends, work for the Board does slow down and much can be done via email.   However, we will be having our monthly meeting on Thursday, July 14, 6:30 pm at the County Ice Rink. 

On the agenda:  New Rules (concussion, no checking in PeeWee’s), team rosters and budgets, minicamp and organization picnic, the Grizz cups (never too early!), storage unit rental, beginning hockey for new players at Cottonwood, update on what is going on at UAHA, etc.
