My son Jake said something funny yesterday.  “Dad, I can’t wait for minicamp and the season to begin but that also means I’ll be back in school.”  His anticipation is infectious and I know many of you are excited about the new season.   

The next board meeting is Aug 16th.  Speaking of which, if you really want excitement, become a Board Member!  You even get a Jr. Grizzly polo shirt.  The Board is made of seven members holding two year terms.  Board Members rotate off every two years, alternating three members one year, four the next.  We meet once per month and handle everything from warm up sizes to choosing coaches.

The Board is elected by the team managers each September.    If you or someone who you think is interested, please tell your team manager.  This fall we have four members who are due to rotate off.  The rotation is designed to bring in new people with fresh ideas and energy while providing continuity to the org.  Members rotating off frequently help out with various committees too.  Hockey knowledge is preferred but not necessary. 

Schedules:   Mini camp is Friday, August 26^th through Sunday, August 28^th.  Picnic at the conclusion, Sunnyside Park just south of Steiner.    The actual schedule will be posted soon.

Regular Season schedules will also be created and posted soon.
